Help .. When I try to install it, it was workin' fine. Til' it hit about 87%, it show me that I have an error. Something with missing file, or corrupted file. Error code: 080070570. Is there a way to fix this ..?

this is P!ssing me right off...

what am i doing wrong??

downloaded... now im on megaupload... ive downloaded all of them due to files missing etc...

runrared etc...

renamed iso to just win7.iso

burned with a few different burners... roxio power iso , i cant get a working copy of nero... al of the ones on here are not working!!!

please sort that out... expired.. keygens dont activate etc...

anyway.. i now have 4 disks with the image burned...

put the disk in... boot from dvd...

it just hangs on the

windows is staring screen... it hasnt installed anything..

first time it came up with a completely different looking start in safe mode etc screen then rebooted.... and it came up with...

either oped up windows.... press f8 for advanced options... but this wasnt part of xp64... so im guessing it was windows 7

but then the splash screen comes up... windows starting up.... and it just stays like that... went and had a shower all excited that finally it might work?!?!


somewhere in the comments there was something about the autorun.dll but i couldnt find it on any of the pages...

do i actually need to replace the autorun.dll??

is that why it just hangs??

because i cant get a virus free nero 9 torrent and the ones here arnt working... im using the free trial one..

back up.... copy using image... burn... there doesnt seem to be an option to make bootable...

if this works i willhave a tommy tank over win7...

Please I really need advice badly - I downloaded the flies from Mega upload and from hotfile did everything twice so I downloaded double my cap with the price of that I might as well have bought it before trying now, after paying all that none of this stuff seems to work keep getting the annoying autorun.dll error, I downloaded the 'right' one from this thread about 20 times already but it won't extract at all. it says it is corrupt please could someone tell what am i doing wrong, I still don't have Win7 to try so that I can see if it's worth buying just a crap load of downloaded files that won't work. Or could someone please re upload the autorun.dll file to rapidshare or hotfile so that I can try it again, Pretty please.

This is my comment on the burning:



Follow it exactly, after some trying i realise that this is the only method that works. To check that the disk has burned properly look in the computer section and the inserted windows disk should have a windows 7 icon, you should also be able to run it and explore the disk.

As i said, follow my method EXACTLY, you MUST choose the ISO method of burning, you MUST select open at the bottom and navigate to your windows 7 ISO which MUST be 8 or less characters long.

I would also suggest burning at the slowest speed possible. Also, tell me, which starting screen is comming up? the windows 7, or your current OS?

Lastly, your not mistaking whats in the advanced options in F8 for Bios? cause i know it's strange but it's not windows 7 lol

Oh yea, also explore the ISO to make sure you haven't corrupted that in some way.

And i have the 32Bit installed, can anyone comment and tell us whether anyone has managed to install the 64Bit? because it seems that message has been comming up for alot of people, it may be a corruption in the image file thats stopping the 64Bit installation working rather than a problem with what your doing...

if you wish to make an upgrade then you can unRAR these files but first then you should split all files together for that use this

then run the above downloaded files "Join32.exe" it will split all files for you
then you can UnRAR or burn into DISK directly.

Finally got it working... put a few basic programs on it... avg... winrar... flash etc... invidia windows 7 drivers... then windows update...


now it wont boot!!!

gets to the open screen and everything stays black...

having to force a restart and it gives the option to do a startup repair... that takes forever

it doesnt find any problems.. sugests repair from system restore. within the startup repair...

still nothing!!

For the record mate, me and a number of others have been posting post after post to help the lot of you, try reading back before you complain.

Also, about your upgrade from 64Bit - 64Bit, i don't believe this is working, everyone who tries seems to get that problem. If you want a 64Bit windows ultimate machine then your gonna have to clean install. Tell me what happens if you attempt this.

I would advise you re-install windows clean again, doesn't take that long and hopefully it'll sort out your problem. I've been using this for ages now without a problem.

Can you tell me at what point it asks for this when your trying to install windows, also tell me what you've done since you downloaded the rar's in terms of the file, burning, booting etc...

I don't quite understand what your talking about... Do you mean you downloaded the links and some of them are different sizes? if so you must re-download the different sized files (minus the last one) as you've incompletely downloaded them.

To Anyone Running Win7 Successfully:

Have you noticed any problems when watching videos online, as in youtube or anything like that. My browsers (firefox, IE) both freeze when trying to watch and than have to close and reopen the browser. Able to Surf online but as soon as it comes to videos it freezes. (also volume control freeze. At the bottom right corner of the task bar)

Have not done any changes to lately.

Anyone have any info on this.

Personally i install windows updates. Remember that this is not a cracked version of windows, just a pre-activated one, it should pass the windows genuine software test.

Your settings will have been reset, well if you did the clean install they defiantly will have been. You may have java scripting disabled, go to internet options, security, custom... and make sure scripting is ticked. You might want to turn everything on for a time to see if anything in the security settings is stopping things from working.

Also if you did clean install remember that you need to reinstall flash play
er, shockwave, java and active x. (unless some of them come preinstalled, i can't remember)
