” I had never actually heard of the show before I saw it on rlslog. The description and the cover art weren’t really that appealing and the name of the show reminded me of the movie Raising Arizona, which I thought was good, but not great. After watching two or three episodes of this show I realized it was already becoming one of my favorites. The Characters are funny, but not obnoxious. The writing is original and clever. If you give it a try, I think you’ll like it. If at all possible, watch the episodes in order. Knowing how things started is pretty important in understanding the characters. At 23 years old, Jimmy Chance is going nowhere in life. He skims pools for a living, parties every night and still lives at home with his family, including his parents and his cousin, Mike. Jimmy’s life takes a drastic turn when a chance romantic encounter with Lucy goes awry once he discovers she is a wanted felon. Months later, when Jimmy pays a visit to the local prison, he discovers Lucy gave birth to their baby, who he is now charged with raising.
