So my last HD movie roundup this week will end with a classic film as well. “Twilight Zone: The Movie” is a 1983 film produced by Steven Spielberg and John Landis as a theatrical version of The Twilight Zone, a 1959 and ’60s TV series created by Rod Serling. AMIABLE brings another Star Wars episode in HD quality, this time it’s the final episode VI – Return of the Jedi. Episode 4 and 5 were posted here earlier. In the final episode of the Star Wars saga, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) emerges intact from the carbonite casing in which he’d been sealed in The Empire Strikes Back. The bad news is that Solo, together with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), is prisoner to the grotesque Jabba the Hutt. But with the help of the charismatic Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), our heroes and our heroine manage to escape. The next task is to rid the galaxy of Darth Vader (body by David Prowse, voice by James Earl Jones) and the Emperor (Ian McDiarmid), now in command of a new, under-construction Death Star. On the forest moon Endor, the good guys enlist the help of a feisty bunch of bear-like creatures called the Ewoks in their battle against the Empire.

The Complete 2nd Season of the re-imagined 1983 miniseries “V” is released by REWARD, including the final 10 episodes in DVDRip quality. I think this 2nd season was quite good actually and don’t understand why ABC cancelled this show (they cancelled “No Ordinary Family” too which I think has a great cast and is very entertaining). Something that I also not understand is that the series was renewed for 13 episodes but then reduced to 10 but still, the series finale was such a disappointment :( . Neways, if you’re a sci-fi series fan, I definitely recommend you this show. They seem almost godlike among us. They are the alien Visitors who, led by mysterious queen Anna, base their operations out of 29 motherships hovering over 29 global sites. But why 29? The answer lies in the Vs’ secret plan – just one of the extraordinary revelations in Season 2 of V. As that astonishing plan draws closer to fulfillment, a resourceful underground unit of resistance fighters called the Fifth Column redoubles its efforts to undermine it. And throughout are the amazing visuals that are hallmarks of the series: looming spaceships, advanced medical technologies and the fear-inducing morphing of Vs into their reptilian forms. Our world…their rules?

For my last TV PACK this week, I have a 1983 miniseries called “The Winds of War” for you. It follows the book of the same name closely and depicts events from March 1939 until the entry of the United States into World War II in December 1941. Just as in the book, in addition to the lives of the Henry and Jastrow families, much time in the miniseries is devoted to the major global events of this period. Adolf Hitler and the German military staff with the fictitious general von Roon as a major character is a prominent subplot of the miniseries. Winds of War also includes segments of documentary footage narrated by William Woodson to explain major events and important characters. The complete 7-episode DVDRip PACK was released by group MEDiEVAL. In the late 1930s, world politics begin to head in a dangerous direction. In Europe, Germany expands and rearms and proceeds to annex several border countries into the Reich. Meanwhile, Italy attempts to establish a Facist Colonial Empire under Mussolini while the Empire of Japan stands ready for a major war with China. Enter the Henry family, headed by career naval officer Victor “Pug” Henry. “Winds of War” thus follows the exploits of Pug and his children, all of which are set against the backdrop of world events leading up to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

“He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” is an American animated television series produced by Filmation based on Mattel’s successful toy line Masters of the Universe. The show, often referred to as simply He-Man, was one of the most popular animated children’s shows of the 1980s, and has retained a heavy cult following to this day. It made its television debut in 1983 and ran until 1985, consisting of two seasons of 65 episodes each. This big complete 130-episode DVDRip PACK was released by group SAiNTS and FFNDVD. Both seasons have an EXTRA release from the two groups. Enjoy! The show takes place on the fictional planet of Eternia, a planet of magic, myth and fantasy. The show’s lead character is Prince Adam, the young son of Eternia’s rulers, King Randor and Queen Marlena. Whenever Prince Adam uses the Power Sword, and when he holds it aloft and says the magic words “By the Power of Grayskull”!” he is transformed into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. Together with his close allies, Battle Cat (who undergoes a similar transformation from being Adam’s cowardly pet tiger Cringer), Teela, Man-At-Arms and Orko, He-Man uses his powers to defend Eternia from the evil forces of Skeletor. Skeletor’s main goal is to conquer the mysterious fortress of Castle Grayskull, from which He-Man draws his powers. If he succeeds, Skeletor would conquer the whole of Eternia – possibly the whole universe.

So the new season of CBS’ “NCIS” will return tonight, I’m going to post the DVDRip PACK of the last two seasons for you today. First, it’s group SAiNTS with the complete 25-episode sixth season. Check it out!

And here is the DVDRip PACK of the complete 24-episode season 7 of “NCIS” released by group MACRO. One side note about this PACK is that this is the first time group MACRO do TVDVDRIP and it was a mess. REPACK, RERIP, REAL RERIP, everything you can imagine But rest assured that all things are good here.

Run-D.M.C. released three classic albums and both Together Forever: Greatest Hits 1983-1991 (1991) and Ultimate Run-D.M.C. (2003) are five-star compilations. Therefore, this volume of Sony’s S.O.U.L. a budget-line series of ten-track discs is more like a sampler than a proper anthology. Each track is deserving of placement on a Run-D.M.C. best-of, but the disc does not represent the absolute best, not when “It’s Like That,” “Beats to the Rhyme,” “King of Rock,” and “You Be Illin’” are not included. Oddly (or conveniently), the disc closes with the four Krush-Groove tracks (”Sucker M.C.’s,” “Hollis Crew,” “Darryl and Joe,” and “Together Forever”) in order.

The series takes place in Los Angeles, as indicated by the episode “Bev Takes A Holiday” when Beverly’s detective tells her, “here is the address in LA”, when referring to Duckman’s address. Also, in the pilot episode “I, Duckman”, there is a closeup of Duckman’s California car license plate (which reads “PSSDOFF”), clearly indicating as well that at the very least the series is set in one of the state’s major cities. In one episode, Bernice makes a reference to “the Southland,” a local term used to describe Southern California.
