In episode 3 the top ten drivers arrive at Revolution Racing. Some of them arrive with parents. After meeting the staff including their trainer Phil Horton, they move into their new home. The next day, the drivers have their first work out. From there they head over to race go-karts where tensions carry over from the track into the locker room. In addition to two days of go-kart racing we also learn that one of the drivers is out, but it isn’t due to elimination. The drivers meet up with Coach Phil for a crash course in pitting the cars. We learn how dangerous this maneuver is with a couple close calls. Workouts this time are a little different as Phil takes the drivers to an Olympic training center for some running and then it’s back to the track. At the end of the day someone else must go home.
