I have download files and unpack it,start the game and come to the main menu from where I can`t start the game.I choose new game and level of hardness and nothing is nappening.It wan`t start.Why?!WHYYYYY?!

I forget to say-I have windows XP.Does that matter anything with this game?

UPDATE!

Ok, so far its working for me. I'm only on the first level, but it is working.

What I did:
1. In you "Call of Duty 5" folder or whatever you've named it, open the #readme# folder and double click on the "delete_game_from_registry.reg" file. The instructions say this will unistall the game, but it didn't for me. The files were still there.
2. Run the game. It will ask you to create an online profile. Attempt it at first, you will get an error or it will just go in a loop. I don't know how many times I tried it, but eventually, it ended up going to the root game menu.
3. Create a new game just like you were, but this time it should work =)

Errors: My audio was REALLY messed up when I first started... really staticky... but now it is working just fine.

Let me know if this works!

People, if your file is "corrupt" then re-download the file, the problem is your end, not with the files.

plzzzz help.... i downloded all the files but when i try to ran the set up (MS DOS bathc file) it only extract the DATA1.arc but does not continue to extract the other DATA.arc.. plz help what should i do... i rely need this game plzz.....

It's a really cool game, but I had a problem after Installed it (on windows xp):
the menu came in, a could click on start game, choose difficulty, but nothing happened...
I found a workink solution on the net, I thought it will help some1, it worked for me:
"Start -> Run -> type Regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Activision -> Call of duty waw -> codkey

Change it to another (edit/modify)
And remember to type the cdkey without spaces or dashes between the numbers/letters
Then run the game again, worked for me."

I with my COD clan members using a program called hamachi, which makes your online connections for COD to sense it as a LAN connection...
huh sry my enlish not perfect, fact is, that in CodWaw, you can play offline on online inside LAN, bacuse of hamachi, COD Sense your online connections as LAN connections...

the call of duty console that appears after it tells me that the program has encountered errors states that:
Error: Could not load material "water_droplet".
Error: Could not load material "water_dynamic_spray".

I searched it up on google as to how to fix it, but the solutions given were for Vista, and I wasn't able to find/fix it on XP. =S

EGY's But yet I wasn't able to Install the Game....!

When U click on those RAR things it says : Unexpected End of Archive
And after that When I extract....it Says :

1.Download all the files (.001,.002 etc.) in one folder.
2.Open HjSplit and click Join and browse input file .001 file and so Start!
3.Extract COD5-egydown-mu.rar -2,16 Gb file ! (I suggest that WinRAR 3.9)
4.Run Setup.bat installation, Enter and and pack it loose (it takes a long time, be patience)
5. Download DirectX new Files!!!
6. after that u must restart your computer!

Works perfectly but remember to go to the #readme# folder and double click the delete_game_from_registry file. When thats done double click the game and it should prompt you to create an online profile, which it never will accept. Now just click on the option that indicates you do not want to create an online profile and start the game.

If I didn't do this the game wouldn't go pass being able to choose my difficulty.

I have downloaded all rapidshare links via orbit.

I put them all in one folder and joined them using Hjsplit then extracted that joined file to my desktop which creted a folder with everything extracted in it.

I then disabled my AUC for vista (as it discribes in the read me file) and restarted my laptop.

Then i clicked on setup i pressed anykey to continue as it states and it started extracting "data1.arc" once "data1.arc" had finished the extracting progress bar jumped to 5% complete then does nothing.

Iv tried deleting the folder and extracted the joined file formed from Hjsplit again but the same keeps happening stuck on 5%.

For hours it has been stuck on 5% and wont start extracting the next one "data2.arc" file. What have i done wrong please help. Iv spent 3 days already trying to get this dowload to work already. Thank you very much in advance.
